Writers of Colour Audio Anthology

Nasim Asl is one of the writers featured in the Mixtape 2021: Writers of Colour Audio Anthology. 

Her poem ‘we are nine and playing princesses’ is available to listen to and read online. The anthology celebrates the work produced by writers during the 2021 Writers of Colour group, established by the Scottish BPOC Writer’s Network. Each writer was invited to submit up to 2 poems or prose pieces, written with support from the group’s mentor Hannah Lavery. Sound designer and musical poet Sarya Wu then created a soundscape for each piece.
