Prerana and Elizabeth Longlisted for Rialto’s Nature and Place Competition

Prerana Kumar and Elizabeth were both longlisted for the Rialto’s 2022 Nature and Place Poetry Competition. 

Prerana was longlisted for her poem ‘Mother Scorpion Thicktail,’ and Elizabeth with ‘Fish at the quarry.’

The competition was run in conjunction with the RSPB, BirdLife International, Cambridge Conservation Initiative and the University of Leeds Poetry Centre. Judged by poet and playwright Gillian Clarke, writers were invited to submit work on any aspect of ‘nature and place.’
