Beth is Traverse Breakthrough Writer in Residence

Beth Westbrook has been selected as one of the Traverse Theatre’s 2022 Breakthrough Writers in Residence.

Along with five other writers, she has received bespoke mentoring and dramaturgical support across 6 months, working on a full length play which will receive a reading in November this year.

The programme is a re-set of the Traverse’s open submissions initiative, and seeks to identify the most exciting voices across the UK and Ireland.
