Whilst her poetry is on hold (for now), Henna is working as a Researcher in Unscripted TV at Daisybeck Studios. She has been involved in shows such as Channel 5's 'Yorkshire Great and Small with Dan and Helen,' 'Winter on the Farm,' and 'Great British Cities with Susan Calman.' She is working in Daisybeck's Development Team, so much of her creativity translates into coming up with new TV ideas.

Aside from the TV life, Henna graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA in History and was the editor of the 2021/22 historical magazine History Student Times. Her love for writing and telling stories stemmed from joining First Story and thus went on to secure a Rathbones Folio Mentorship Program in 2018. Henna was commended in Hive South Yorkshire’s 2019 Young Writer’s competition and is featured in the First Story and Rathbones Folio Prize 2021 anthology The Day is Fresh. Henna also runs the Writing Squad's Squad 11 Mini Goals sessions alongside Jessica Wood and loves to hear from all the work that the Writing Squad are getting up to!

Henna's poetry focuses on her South Asian and Indian heritage, often referencing her love for its colour, food and family.
