Dominic Wins Manchester Cathedral Poetry Competition

Congratulations to Dominic Leonard, who has been awarded first place in the Manchester Cathedral Poetry Competition 2024. The themes this year were ecopoetry and place.

Manchester Cathedral Writer in Residence and organiser of the competition, Tom Branfoot, described Dominic’s poem as “…an unsettling meditation on nature, consumption and pollution underpinned by a theological impulse.”
