Then To The Elements

Then To The Elements, a new 15-minute opera by Squad grad Laura Attridge, will be performed this April at Galvanizers in Glasgow. The new piece is the result of Opera Sparks – a competition launched in 2016 to find Scotland’s most talented young composers and writers – that Laura was one of the winners of. Then To The Elements takes its inspiration from Frankenstein, and is a modern tale of parenthood. Laura co-wrote the opera with Lewis Murphy, a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
