Alice Wins University Writing Prize

Squad writer Alice Hiley has won a creative writing prize at Lancaster University. The Creative Writing Portfolio prize is selected by tutors from the English Literature and Creative Writing department, who look for the best portfolio of writing from the Advanced Creative Writing module of the course. For her winning entry, Alice wrote an 8,000 word collection of three short stories loosely based on fairy tales.
