Rebecca Reflects on Kelham App

You can now read all about our project with Kelham Island, part of Sheffield Industrial Museums.

Curious Things who, are Squad7 grad Lenni Sanders and friend of the Squad Harry Jelley worked with the Fruitbowl young LGBTQ+ group to develop a strand of a new app for Sheffield’s Kelham Island Industrial Museum. The app was funded by Arts Council England.

Rebecca Walton, Kelham Island’s Learning Programme Co-ordinator, delivered this reflection on the project at this year’s Education in Museums Annual Conference.

The project was delivered in partnership with IVE as part of the Heritage Lottery funded IGNITE, to revolutionise the way young people and future generations understand and appreciate Yorkshire’s industrial heritage.
