Melody Gets ACE Support

Current north east Squad member Melody Sproates has received a National Lottery Project grant from Arts Council England to develop *gender not included their one-person, non binary cabaret performance. The show, an exploration into identities and how they can dictate our lives, is told through dance hits, 80s cartoon theme songs and Madonna.

Melody says. “I absolutely can’t wait to get cracking on my first solo show! I have the chance to work with some of my favourite creatives as well as some other exciting performances to announce. Thank you very much Arts Council England and Curious Arts festival for supporting my project. I really hope that my show will help other people who may be struggling or just need abit of a laugh.”
