Dani Forages for New Poetry

Squad grad Dani Watson is to be published by Newcastle-based D6, a visual arts organisation who work to promote the role of artists in the sustainable development of our towns and cities.

Dani’s latest poetry collection will be named The Earth is Turning, following a series of ‘foraging’ walks, devised by artist Henna Asikainen, that Dani took through natural landscapes and historic landscapes sites in the North East with migrants and refugees. The development of Dani’s work has also been supported by New Writing North’s Young Writer’s Talent Fund.
