IGNITE SOUNDSCAPE – ANDREW COOK

 

Made by Andy Cook from the voices of pupils from Wakefield Cathedral Academy after they spent two days working with us at the National Coal Mining Museum as part of We Are Ive’s Ignite project, supported by National Heritage Lottery Fund. It was all about engaging young people with their industrial past and included a trip down the mine. The songs are from the Alan Lomax Collection at the American Folklife Center, Library of Congress, and used with the permission of the Association for Cultural Equity.
