Lydia Creates Litbitch

Squad grad Lydia Hounat has recently created a new project, Litbitch. The site is a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, which caused the cancellation of many book launches/exhibitions in 2020. To remedy it, Litbitch aims to help the exposure for emerging writers and photographers affected by reviewing their work not just from 2020 but in previous years too. It’s also about encouraging reading and writing amongst audiences, and more pertinently, embracing honesty, transparency and respect in criticism.

It is committed to reading and reviewing work from small presses, including but not limited to, people from marginalised backgrounds, particularly women of mixed ethnicity.
