Naomi Runner Up in Orwell Youth Prize

Current Squad member, Naomi Thomas, is a senior runner up in the Orwell Youth Prize.

Writers responded to the theme, The Future We Want, through essays, poetry, prose, and reportage on topics from climate change to living in a more equitable world. Every entry was read by at least two assessors, and the final winners were chosen by the 2020 judges Kerry Hudson and Kayo Chingonyi.

Before joining the Squad, Naomi was a member of HIVE Young Writers in South Yorkshire.
