A Little Help for Our Friends

We have always thought Studio 12 in Leeds is one of the best organisations around working with young writers and film makers. So we were glad to be able to make it possible for one of their writers, Melissa Wuidart-Phillips to develop a text for film with occasional Squad guest tutor Rommi Smith. The film, made as part of the Writing Britain project, with Mojo Film, is now out.

Written from personal experiences, Melissa takes you through the challenges of adapting to new experiences and celebrates the beauty in the smallest of details. The film is a cinematic perspective on the uniqueness of the Asperger’s and celebrates the condition.
