Katie becomes LEVEL Arts Centre Artistic Associate

Co-founder of Radical Body Arts, Katie Walters has been appointed as one of LEVEL Arts Centre’s New Artistic Associates. 

The four Associates have been appointed as part of LEVEL’s pilot LEVEL Associate Lab, forming part of their leadership team, as opposed to the appointment of a single Artistic Director.

LEVEL is an NPO based in rural Derbyshire, their work pioneers the transformative power of the arts to enrich the lives of disabled adults.

On joining LEVEL, Katie said ‘[This] role is the opportunity to build something. The fact that this role exists at all shows me that LEVEL is open to the sorts of systemic changes that are necessary to open up the arts industry and make it accessible to everybody. I want to be a part of that process and I want to make sure that nobody is left behind.’
