Silla at Leeds Opera Festival

Laura Attridge is set to direct Handel’s Silla at the 2022 Leeds Opera Festival. This year’s festival focuses on the theme of ‘power’ – be it political, patriarchal, electrical and more.

The three act opera recounts the story of the Roman Dictator Sulla, and Attridge’s production will headline a programme of talks, performances and workshops taking place across the city of Leeds.
