Tife, Beth and the Women’s Prize for Playwriting
Beth Westbrook has made the shortlist for the Women’s Prize for Playwriting 2021. A huge congratulations also to Tife Kusoro, who made this year’s long-list.
Their plays G (Kusoro) and Awareness (Westbrook) were selected for the initial long-list from 850 entries. The Prize is supported by EKP, Paines Plough, 45North and Sonia Friedman Productions, and is an open invitation for writers who identify as female in the UK and Ireland to create bold new work for stage. This year’s judging panel includes writers such as Jasmine Lee-Jones, actors like Jodie Whittaker and agents such as Mel Kenyon.
