Aoife Wins Brick Lane Short Story Prize

Aoife Inman has been announced as the winner of the Brick Lane Bookshop Short Story Prize.

Aoife won with her story ‘Earth-Grown Bodies’, which was selected by the judges panel of Elise Dillsworth, Kishani Widyaratna and Wendy Erskine.

The prize is designed to champion new voices and the short story form, with the winners and longlist published in an anthology available to buy here.

Speaking about this year’s longlist, judge Kishani Widyaratna said, ‘I was struck by the breadth, ambition and flair of the stories in the prize. This anthology presents a thrilling sample of distinctive new talent at work today and highlights some exciting emerging writers for us all to follow.’
