Billie Shortlisted for Papatango Prize

Billie Collins’ play But the Heart Stayed Behind made the shortlist for the 2021 Papatango Prize. 

Given the challenges of the pandemic, the prize this year was focused on audio drama. From 1,410 entries, 3 winners were picked, and Billie’s was one of 5 additional shortlisted plays.

Launched in 2009, the Papatango New Writing Prize is the biggest playwriting award in the UK, attracting more annual entries than any other.
