Billie Collins, playwright and Squad grad, has written two episodes for CBBC’s fifth series of the hit TV show Malory Towers (based on the Enid Blyton series of the same name). Billie wrote episodes 8 and 16 of the series, which will be released on CBBC and iPlayer. The series is made by King Bert Productions. Billie has also written episodes for the upcoming Series 6.

In June Billie also had an R&D day for their new play The Walrus Has a Right to Adventure, which they are developing  as part of Sheffield Theatres’ Bank Cohort. The play, about three people in three different countries who have encounters with wild animals, is about what it means to share space with the non-human. Billie is now redrafting in the hope of finding a home for it.
