Theatre is what happens when a bunch of people choose to play pretend in the same room together. Why do critics take it all so seriously? Join James to explore writing reviews about the things we feel in our heads, the things people do on stages, and the fundamental daftness of art.
James is a Squad grad, writer and theatre maker based in Manchester. He sporadically manages a blog of cultural criticism at www.jamesvarney.uk and has written reviews for The Real Story, Exeunt and The Stage.
