Chris Wins UK Theatre Award

Standing on the Sky’s Edge has won an award at the UK Theatre Awards. Written by Squad grad Chris Bush, with music by Richard Hawley and directed by Robert Hastie, the production won the Best Musical category.

In 1961, the first residents of Park Hill were given the keys to their new homes.  Standing at the Sky’s Edge tells their story over the next 50 years, in a heart-swelling, heart-breaking love song to Sheffield.
