BESEA Poetry Night

Helen Bowell will be sharing work at the first BESEA Poetry Night at the Hackney Chinese Community Centre.

Join us as we celebrate our amazing British based East and South East Asian poets! Tickets are free and we will be raising donations for the Hackney Chinese Community Services on the night so they can keep doing all their amazing work!

This event will showcase a number of brilliant poets who will perform and take part in a panel. There will be an interval where audience and poets can have a casual chat. Full lineup coming soon!

BESEAP founder Christy Ku has been an active performer in London’s open mic circuit for the last 5 years, but struggled to find many other ESEA poets.
