Isabella’s Oxford Brookes Special Commendation

Current North West Squad member Isabella Sharp has been placed in open category of the 2018 Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition for her poem Ionian.

Judge Kayo Chingonyi said, “I wish to award a Special Commendation to Ionian, a deceptively simple account of origins that feels both contemporary and arcane in its frequent recourse to the language of myth.”
