Jasmine in Residence

This summer Squad 6 grad Jasmine Simms will be Poet in Residence for three months, May through July, at the University of Tübingen, Germany.

The university is celebrating their ‘twin city’ relationship with Durham, UK, where Jasmine previously studied. While in Tübingen, she will be performing readings and providing some teaching for the university, but will use the majority of her time to progress her writing.

Jasmine also has her first pamphlet due out in November with Smith/Doorstep as part of the 2019 New Poets Series. You can read more about her here.
