Laura’s World Awakens

Check out the online premiere of Laura Attridge‘s ‘The World Awakens‘ – it’s the final movement of a longer oratorio she has written with composer Kate Whitley. Its premiere at the Buxton International Festival was postponed due to covid, but will hopefully debut this year.

Multi-Story Orchestra have brought together over 350 primary school children, plus some professional instrumentalists and soloists to create an online rendition of the piece, accompanied by a beautiful animation.
