Lauren Joins Young Women’s Film Academy

Many congratulations to Lauren Vevers on her new role as the Drama and Outreach Worker for the Young Women’s Film Academy.

The Academy is a ‘charity passionate about encouraging girls and young women to develop skills in filmmaking through exploration of challenging issues and experiences on screen.’

Lauren will be kicking off her work with them by running their first Saturday Club of the year. The Club is a space in which film mentors empower girls and young women to tell stories in their own language and style.
