Lauren Shortlisted for Writers and Artists Prize

Lauren C. Maltas has been shortlisted for the Writers and Artists Working Class Writers’ Prize. 

Lauren’s work-in-progress novel Perseverance was shortlisted alongside five other pieces. The winner, as selected by judge Jessica Andrews, will be announced this Friday.

2022 marked the fourth year of the prize, and the winner will receive £200, mentoring with Jessica, access to several W&A writing and publishing events,  a year’s membership of the Society of Authors, a W&A writing guide bundle and a selection of Bloomsbury books.
