Liz’s Advent Play

Elizabeth Gibson has written one of Oldham Coliseum‘s online ‘Advent Plays’ for 2021.

The Advent Plays are a few minutes long each, released each morning from 1-24 December. They’ve been written by a mix of established writers, Coliseum associate artists and new voices.

Her play ‘Christmas Octopus’ is about adjusting to a new world, and the pitfalls of fancy dress. It’s available to watch online for free, directed by Sushil Chudasama, performed by Brianna Douglas and filmed and edited by Grant Archer.
