Lydia Invests Arts Award

With support from our Professional Development fund, Squad7 grad Lydia Allison recently took part in Arts Award Advisor training. Arts Award is Arts Council England’s scheme to inspire young people to grow their arts and leadership talents.

A a result Lydia has set up projects in which she can apply what she has learnt and will be running sessions over the next few months at Thomas Rotherham College, where she is a Progress Tutor, and during the summer term at Grimm and Co. where she is a freelance sessional artist. Lydia says, “I’m really looking forward to giving a wide range of students and young people the chance develop and share their writing skills.”
