Max Talks Rural Recovery
Squad grad Max May and CEO of Thirk-based Rural Arts has been talking to the Yorkshire Post about recovery from the pandemic from the perspective of the rural arts community. Talking especially of the older community, Max said, “A lot of the people that come to our sessions have been increasingly isolated during the pandemic… We see ourselves as having a really, really vital role to play not only in bringing the visitor economy back but bringing back that community wellbeing and cohesion.”
