May Talks to National Theatre of Scotland

Squad grad May Sumbwanyambe has his new play, Enough of Him, in theatres across Scotland in October and November 2020. Enough of Him explores the life of Joseph Knight, an African man brought to Scotland as a slave, by plantation owner John Wedderburn to serve in his Perthshire mansion.

May spoke to the National Theatre of Scotland about why he decided to bring this character to life and why Joseph’s story is part of both black history and British history.
