May Teaching on Bijli New Writers Programme

May Sumbwanyambe has been announced as one of the writers delivering writing classes for Bijli Productions’ new writing programme. 

The Bijli New Writers Project is designed to support the creative expression and skills of underrepresented communities in Scotland.

May – along with Raisah Ahmed, Hannah Lavery and Maryam Hamidi – will deliver digital writing classes to explore subjects such as becoming a writer, voice, and process.

Bijli Productions is a company that creates work to encourage diversity across cultures and art forms for communities across Scotland, the UK and beyond.
