Nasim and Lydia join the Undertow Eight

Nasim Asl and Lydia Hounat have been selected to participate in Polylingual Poets Please. This is the first national development programme run by Undertow, the Poetry Translation Centre’s youth programme.

The scheme will provide young poets with mixed heritage an opportunity to develop their skills in polylingual poetry. They will work alongside Mexican-Scottish poet and translator Juana Adcock to hone their craft, and in 2022 will share their work with the public.
