The Reverend Alexander Forsythe revolutionised modern firearms by inventing the percussion flintlock, but have his costly experiments bankrupted his Scottish parish, will he ever get his just reward from the government in London, or will he be seduced by the offer of recognition and investment by an envoy from Napoleon?
