Ruth Goes to Leeds Playhouse

Yorkshire Squad writer Ruth Kelner has been selected by Leeds Playhouse onto their FUSE programme for playwrights. The scheme offers three writers a bursary, mentoring and 121 dramaturgical support and opportunities to see work and build relationships to sustain a long career.

Each year as part of the wider FUSE programme, an invited cohort of artists from six disciplines are invited to participate in intensive skills and craft development workshops, receive industry insight and the opportunity to build peer support, receive 1-2-1 support and mentoring from our Artistic Planning team, leading to an informal performance outcome that encourages and enables collaboration with other artists on Fuse programmes.
