Jess Cowie is a storyteller, theatre maker and journalist from Cheshire. Currently in her final year studying for her degree in Theatre and Creative Writing from Lancaster University, she writes for multiple publications including Beyond the Curtain, The Fledger, The Indiependent and The Tab (both regionally and nationally). She has reviewed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and nationwide for EdFringeReview, Beyond the Curtain and the Indiependent. Her star ratings have been used on posters outside West End theatres and at the Fringe.

Jess has spent the last year interning at theatre companies and training to be a theatre producer. She has run creative writing workshops aimed at KS2 and above. She has also worked as a youth theatre assistant, a freelance captioner, a children’s drama teacher and a high ropes instructor, if you're looking for any of those.
