Three Shorts for the East Riding

Dorcas Taylor of Lit Up and East Riding Council invited the Writing Squad to suggest playwrights who could pitch ideas round round lesser known stories in the county’s history. Five took up the challenge and Georgia Affonso, Lydia Marchant and Ruby Lawrence were successful.

Under the mentorship of John Godber, they have each written a fifteen minute play.  John is writing one too and all four will tour libraries and schools across the East Riding this autumn as Here and Now.  Full details here.
